We were told someone from housekeeping would come by and let us know how to proceed. The manager, who was obviously too afraid to enter our room called and offered an empty apology and a refund (of only one of my two rooms!). I began to search for the bug, thinking maybe I was crazy, so my daughter and I started to strip away each layer of bed sheets, only to find BUG AFTER BUG AFTER BUG AFTER BUG!!! After I called the front desk, the hotel sent someone in to “take my statement”, they literally asked for my height and weight. On the surface the room seemed clean…we were out and about the hotel all day, got back into the room and basically went straight to sleep. Lots of “staffing” issues, which is an easy excuse these days, but wasn’t a major problem. Better than the Dells version, but not as nice as Grapevine or Mason. This Great Wolf is in pretty good shape, but it’s newish. This review comes exactly one week later and we have not received one single follow up.
